About the Buying
Days
The Presidents
Council Buying Days
offers
suppliers exclusive one on one meetings with merchandisors from
Rona, Inc. (SOLD OUT) and buyers from Home Hardware, providing
an efficient forum
to accomplish the following:

Meet with the
appropriate buyer for 20 minutes
-
Introduce
their company, products & new merchandising programs
-
Receive
first-hand responses to questions about the potential of
their products
-
Build
stronger relationships
-
Discuss new
merchandising programs & concepts, and conduct research
-
Schedule
follow-up meetings
Cost
Fee for participation is $400 per meeting with up to
two attendees. All travel, lodging, materials and other expenses are
separate. You may substitute attendees at any time. Manufacturer's
representatives who are registering must have someone from the
company they are representing in attendance. Payments may be made by credit card or by check to the Home Improvement Industry Presidents Council.
Please note: Due to the individual
appointment format, no cancellations will be accepted after
October 4, 2010.
Also,
a valid passport is required for non-Canadian citizens.
Bilingual packaging (English / French)
is not required for a Buying Days presentation; however it is
the law if you will be selling product in Canada. If a deal is
consummated a timeline will be established when the packaging
meets Canadian regulations. If you have no intention of
converting your US packaging in the future this event is not for
you.
