The Presidents Council's marketing and sales consulting services augments members efforts to build market-share/customer-share, increase knowledge and understand the industry and markets.

During the past thirteen years, we are proud to have served over 1500 home improvement retailers and manufacturers worldwide through the unique combination of services offered by the Presidents Council's educational, networking, trade activities and custom marketing and sales consulting services.

In addition to input from industry leaders, our knowledgeable professional team provides members with a unique perspective and understanding of the industry. We are in close contact with manufacturers, retailers and distributors throughout the year. Through these various programs and services, we continue to broaden and establish new relationships worldwide.

Market Audits

Market Audits are an efficient and economical service for members who want a quick market survey of competitive products and pricing, retail strategies in addition to the overall market environment. 

Using our knowledge of the different markets and players, we provide an overview of competition; evaluate the emphasis on a particular product category and/or retail strategies; and identify opportunities and obstacles. Members can participate in the process to gain first-hand experience and knowledge.


Market Overview & Introductory Sales Appointments

This service allows members to explore and develop new markets by presenting products to retailers, visiting stores and conducting market audits. As industry experts, we share knowledge and offer insight for the greatest opportunity for market expansion and product placement. Prior to the meetings with key retail buying executives, we provide an overview of the market and a basic understanding of how each retailer is strategically positioned in their markets. Members are able to actively participate in the process for first-hand knowledge, or may wish to have The Presidents Council solely conduct the overview and appointments.


Qualitative Market Research

With a focused on the retail channel, we conduct market store audits and personal retailer interviews to provide the product and market analysis that identifies marketing opportunities for companies in Home Improvement markets worldwide.


Sales Consultations

Our sales consultation helps suppliers develop and implement strategic business plans that will secure product placement, customize market strategies and secure retailer relationships.
